Dallas Symphony Orchestra Brass Quintet
The Dallas Symphony Orchestra Brass Quintet is comprised of the principal players of The Dallas Symphony Orchestra. The player's experiences collectively go beyond the orchestra boundaries and include playing in bands, chamber groups, studio recordings, soloing, clinics and jazz ensembles. This wide range of experience makes the DSOBQ unique in the long list of brass quintets and is evident in their varied programming. Comfortable from classical to jazz repertoire, the music making of this quintet is sure to entertain and uplift all audiences alike. In addition, the experience of teaching in leading music schools around the country enables DSOBQ to presents master classes for high school and college students. The group currently holds a residency at Southern Methodist University, Meadows School of the Arts, Music Department.
